Casa Miyama offers a serene tatami room, a spacious engawa overlooking a peaceful Japanese garden, a cozy bedroom with views of a historic storehouse, and a stunning attic gallery beneath the original thatched roof.
Throughout the year, you can enjoy Miyama free-range chicken sukiyaki served at a charcoal-heated *irori* (sunken hearth) table. From spring through summer, savor a premium barbecue—featuring everything from seafood to local game—on the garden terrace beneath a sky full of stars. In winter, warm up with *botan nabe* (wild boar hot pot) while cozying up next to a wood-burning stove. For breakfast, we offer our popular “Spanish Breakfast.”The owners, professional photographers, also offer a range of highly popular photography services.
After a day of exploring the area, unwind in the large cypress wood bath or enjoy a peaceful soak in the open-air bath surrounded by the tranquil atmosphere of the Japanese garden.

築115年の趣を残す、露天風呂付きかやぶき古民家で特別なひとときをお楽しみください。昔ながらの風情を大切にしながら、快適に過ごせるよう丁寧に二人の写真家が再生いたしました。
カーサ美山には、落ち着いた畳の間や、静かな日本庭園を眺めながらゆっくり過ごせる広々とした縁側、歴史ある蔵を望む居心地のよい寝室がございます。伝統的な茅葺き屋根を見て触れることのできる屋根裏の圧倒的な空間は、写真ギャラリースペースになっております。
お食事は年間をとして、美山の地鶏すき焼きを炭の入った囲炉裏テーブルにてお召し上がりいただけます。春から夏にかけては満天の星空の下、ガーデンテラスで海鮮から美山のジビエまで味わえる極上バーベキューをお楽しみいただけます。冬には薪ストーブで暖をとりながらのぼたん鍋で温まりいただけます。朝食には人気の「スパニッシュ・ブレックファースト」をご用意しております。プロ写真家であるオーナーによる様々なフォトサービスも好評です。
一日の終わりには、大きな檜風呂や日本庭園の静かな空気に包まれながら露天風呂でゆっくりと疲れを癒してください。

In hot summer, take a refreshing dip in our private cold plunge filled with natural mountain spring water in the porch. In the end of a day, soak in the indoor hot tub overlooking the garden, or curl up beside the wood-burning stove on a cool evening.
